A Kansas Daffodil is a superb cardboard cut-out of the true Standard Australian Shepherd.
She not only has beautiful confirmation and athletic movement: her coat is thick & long yet so silky soft and easy to maintain. She has gorgeous feminine features along with the most amazing disposition. Daffy is the most independent girl of the merle mob. She is so confident within herself and social around all people and animals. Daffy is always polite and uses her manners when visiting the veterinarian. This sweet southern bell is the definition of chill. She has a heart of gold and is a joy to have inside the house. She is a HUGE trickster. She is a thief and loves to find anything she can to run away with in her mouth. If you can't find a glove, a shoe, or your hammer, go to Daffy. She also loves to 'help' me drag the hose when doing chores on the farm. Furthermore, she has proven to produce puppies who inherit her beautiful head and calm, adaptable disposition. She is a FABULOUS matriarch of the breed.
Daffy is 20" at the shoulder and 55 pounds.
Miss Daffy carries one copy of DM. *This is an autosomal recessive gene, therefore, her puppies will have 50% chance of inheriting one copy of DM, HOWEVER, 100% of them will not be affected/at risk.*

'Je Bent Mooi' is inspired by my Dutch roots, roughly translating to "you're beautiful." And rightfully so- not only breathtaking outer beauty, but a very high emotional intelligence and eagerness to please. She is an angel. Greta LOVES to play with her fellow aussie mates, but she will never pass up a belly rub or a forehead kiss while out on our hikes.
The expectations were surpassed when I chose Greta to carry the torch for the next generation.

Named after the delicate prairie bluebell flower that bloomed the first morning she was welcomed on to the farm, "Babe" is everything I could ever want in an aussie and more. She is so smart, calm, and dependably loyal. This young lady has impeccable style: she has a gorgeous blaze that compliments her blue eyes, and a jet black coat with diluted copper points.
Babe is as honest as they come, and her kind disposition makes my heart swell with pride.
